Campus Cachan
Context
The project site is a former university campus set to be transformed into a mixed-use neighborhood. The main challenge was to support the transitional phase related to the construction and to encourage residents to explore this future neighborhood as it gradually opens up.

Signages
Our strategy was to adopt a mixed approach to reusing the numerous fences and gates from the former campus to create new semi-permanent furniture, as well as transitional and tactical signage made of simple yet visually impactful wood.
The visual identity is based on large, simple, repetitive, and reusable geometric shapes that create a striking visual surface at the scale of the campus entrances. It encourages residents to pass through the gates to learn more about the future neighborhood.

Urban furniture
The installation of seating furniture has helped transform certain areas of the campus into convivial spaces and to prefigure the future neighborhood. The design of the reused furniture made it heavy enough to be sturdy, difficult to move, and not requiring anchoring to the ground. This made it easier to adapt to the pace of the construction site and allowed for multiple forms of appropriation, through small user-driven shifts such as reconfigurations.
